Speeddating brisbane

A speed-dating session to connect Queensland’s leading businesses in the health, medical, biotech, agtech and life sciences sector to talented tertiary students looking for internships, part-time jobs, work placements and careers. If you’re a student and have a background in biomedical, pharmacology, maths, science, communications, agriculture, engineering, business or law, these two hours may propel you into a incredible career opportunity. We like to introduce people around (just ask the host to do so)... A few things about our fantastic group-* ALL OUR EVENTS ARE TOTALLY FREE AND WILL STAY THAT WAY!!!EXCEPT- TWICE A YEAR we request a GOLD COIN donation at our 'Jade Buddha' event (but you get a free drink) - this is to cover the meetup fee that Organizers have pay to use the meetup site and phone calls and balloons etc...

* We encourage people of EVERY AGE to attend.* We are SOCIAL group NOT a DATING WEBSITE or DATING GROUP. Joining our group and attending events is a great way to meet others who have the same interests while having HEAPS OF FUN TIMES TOO! p.s.- A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER-EMAILS-* If you think you are getting too many emails about events - just go to the 'MY PROFILE' tab and turn off the automatic emails and then you can just visit the main page whenever you want.* WE ARE A SOCIAL GROUP- our intention is for single people to make FRIENDSHIPS in person - so we request that members DO NOT email other members as if on a dating site.* ONLY OUR HOSTS arrange events in our group.

We have regular a regular meetup with Organisers from other groups at the 'Brisbane Organisers Meetup' and there we discuss issues, concerns and also new and exciting ideas and ways to make our group even better!

Please read the 'pages' section for further information..

Our statistics show that almost half of the businesses who participate in our events find suitable students to hire.

This event is kindly sponsored by our lead partner MTP Connect - Australia’s Medical Technology Growth Centre We also thank our supporting partners QUT Faculty of Health School of Biomedical Sciences, the Translational Research Institute Australia and Life Sciences Queensland Ltd This event is open to all tertiary students in Queensland.
